Intern EuroFinuse

EuroFinuse, the European umbrella organisation of European shareholders associations, was founded in 1992 under the name of Euroshareholders. It has its General Secretariat in Brussels. EuroFinuse represents the interests and rights of individual shareholders on European level vis-à-vis law makers and the EU institutions. EuroFinuse is offering a full-time internship for the duration of 6 months. The successful candidate will be working with the EuroFinuse’ General Secretariat team in Brussels and assist with internal and external communications, event organisation as well as policy work.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Assisting in the organisation of the General Assembly and Board Meetings;
  •  Preparing event documentation;
  •  Communicating with members;
  •  Managing social media content;
  •  Supporting the development of website content;
  •  Researching news stories related to EU financial policies;
  •  Drafting quarterly newsletters;
  •  Providing administrative support;
  •  Attending and reporting on meetings at the European institutions, organisations and other relevant internal and external events;
  •  Assisting with other activities on a daily basis as assigned.
We are looking forward to welcoming an enthusiastic team player willing to take initiative within the portfolio of assigned tasks. The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
  •  On-going studies or recent university graduate with a focus on finance or economics;
  •  Excellent knowledge of English is required; knowledge of French is valued;
  •  Good IT and social media skills as well as interest in managing online tools;
  •  Interest in the European financial policies is an asset;
  •  Available as of 1 March 2013.
