Intern with accounting background & interest in European Affairs FEE - Federation of European Accountants

FEE (Fédération des Experts-comptables Européens – Federation of European Accountants) is the voice of the European accountancy profession. It represents a combined membership of more than 700.000 accountants, auditors, finance professionals, business and tax advisors in Europe.
FEE is seeking 2 Interns with relevant work experience to support its team.
General information
  •  6­month to 1 year remunerated stage
  •  Starting date: Summer 2013
The successful candidate will have
  •  An accounting background and interest in European Affairs.
  •  Knowledge of the EU policymaking process would be a plus
  •  Excellent writing and research skills
  •  Initiative and creativity when it comes to problem­solving.
  •  Fluency in English as working language
  •  Prior experience in an accounting or audit firm would be an advantage.
  •  Good research and analytical skills.
  •  Dynamic and capable of structuring and managing the work independently.
  •  IT skills.
The main responsibilities will include
  • Assisting with research and preparing draft reports, mainly related to policy relevant to the accountancy profession.
  •  Daily monitoring of relevant information sources and reporting on key developments.
  •  Meeting & event organisation, logistics and follow­up.
