International Internships available WYSE Travel Confederation

For several of our departments we are looking for highly motivated interns (based in Amsterdam or surroundings) to gain work experience and support our team for a period of six months. The preferred start date is as soon as possible.
For our Research department we are looking for:
Research & Communications Intern
Responsibilities include:
Communicating via social media, translating and distributing surveys, analysing responses, proof-reading and preparing the data to be used for presentations and writing and publishing news letters and other promotional materials.

Requirements
  • University student or recent graduate with a relevant degree
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Other IT knowledge such as WordPress is an asset
  • Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
  • Excellent English (oral and written communication), knowledge of other languages is an asset

Graphic Design Intern
Responsibilities include:
Communicating via social media, assist with the design of the website, designing promotional materials for events, preparing presentations and other promotional materials.
There is room for creativity and initiative from the intern, and where possible ideas for improvements will be supported. The level of involvement and responsibility of the intern in the different projects will be adjusted to his/her interests and capacity.

Requirements
Work on corrections to jobs created by other designers
Work on templated jobs
Some small-scale design jobs
Maintain files in the digital assets management system
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) WordPress, Photoshop is an asset
Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
Excellent English (oral and written communication), knowledge of other languages is an asset.


For our Finance department we are looking for:
Finance (Accounting) Intern
Responsibilities include:

Accounts payable, accounts receivable, intergroup accounting, bank statements booking and reconciliations, debtor management and assisting with reporting.

Requirements:
  • University student or recent graduate with a relevant degree (accounting, finance,

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to quickly master accounting software packages
  • Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
What we offer
The possibility to gain work experience in a small, dynamic and international team of young professionals all working on promoting worldwide youth travel. Our office is located in the center of Amsterdam.
Remuneration
We offer an internship allowance of € 300,- per month.
