Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships in Australia, 2013

Bond University offers Padma and Hari Harilela scholarships for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree level in Australia. Applicants must demonstrate that they currently have extensive community involvement and contribution, as well as strong academic achievements. Domestic and international students can apply for these scholarships. Applicants must meet the prerequisites and the admissions entry standard for their chosen degree. 
About Scholarship: The Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships award scholarships to outstanding students from around the globe, looking to study at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. These scholarships open the door to applicants with strong achievements in both community involvement and contribution, and academia. 
Study: Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the Bond University. Course Level: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree level

Eligibility:-Available to Domestic and International students are applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
-Applicants must demonstrate that they currently have extensive community involvement and contribution, as well as strong academic achievements.
-Applicants must meet the prerequisites and the admissions entry standard for their chosen degree.
-Submission of a 500-word personal statement outlining the applicant’s community involvement and contribution, as well as personal attributes and academic achievements. 

Scholarship Open for: Domestic and International Students can apply for these scholarships. 
Duration: The Padma and Hari Harilela Scholarships are available to commencing students in any of Bond’s three semesters. 
Value: -$5,000.00 cash bursaries awarded to domestic students in their first and second year of studying at Bond ($10,000.00 in total)
-$7,500.00 cash bursaries awarded to international students in their first and second year of studying at Bond ($15,000.00 in total). 

Selection criteria:  Individual applications will be assessed for entry into Bond University and the personal statement will be assessed against the criteria. Students must meet all eligibility points stated in order to apply for a scholarship. 
Apply: A Bond University Scholarship Application is considered an application to study at Bond University. Applicant will not be required to complete a separate application form for entry into your chosen program. All scholarship applications must be lodged online using the Bond University Application Form. 
Deadline: Bond University’s scholarships for Australian and International applicants who are not currently studying in Year 12 are open on a semesterly basis. Applications will close 4 weeks before the start of semester for domestic students and 8 weeks before the start of a semester for international students.
