2014 Friede Springer Doctoral Scholarships for International Applicants in Germany

The Friede Springer Foundation is funding Friede Springer Doctoral Scholarships for outstanding doctoral candidates of any nationality at the CASiM Graduate School of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Any applicant holding a degree that qualifies for postgraduate/doctoral/ PhD studies are eligible to apply. Each scholarship is endowed with a monthly stipend of up to EUR 1,468 and a waiver of the fee for the HHL doctoral program over a period of maximum three years (approx. starting in spring 2014). Application deadline is November 3, 2013. 
About Scholarship: The Friede Springer Foundation supports excellence in research by funding Friede Springer Doctoral Scholarships at the CASiM Graduate School of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. The scholarships are open to outstanding doctoral candidates of any nationality. Each scholarship is endowed with a monthly stipend of up to EUR 1,468 and a waiver of the fee for the HHL doctoral program over a period of maximum three years (approx. starting in spring 2014). 
Study: Successful applicants will work on a doctoral project in one of the four research themes of CASiM – “The Role of Trust in Firms and with its Stakeholders”, Change Management in Firms and Markets, Health Care Economics and Management of Health Care Institutions and Urban Dynamics: Cities and Firms in Global Competition.
Course Level: The scholarships are available for pursuing doctoral degree level at the CASiM Graduate School of HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. Scholarship by: The Friede Springer Foundation Location: Germany 
Eligibility: any applicant, from any country, holding a degree that qualifies for postgraduate/ doctoral/ Ph.D. studies. There are no age limits for the scholarship.
Scholarship Open for: The students of any country can apply for the scholarships. 
Duration: Three years
Value: Each scholarship is endowed with a monthly stipend of up to EUR 1,468 and a waiver of the fee for the HHL doctoral program over a period of maximum three years (approx. starting in spring 2014). 
Apply: The mode of applying is by email. Applications must include a CV, copies of certificates, and two recommendation letters from previous academic advisers, an informative research proposal as well as the completed and signed application form.
