2014 Mid Sweden University Tuition Fee Scholarships in Sweden

Mid Sweden University is offering a number of masters scholarships for autumn term 2014 in Sweden. Students from countries outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland) are eligible for this Masters scholarship. Scholarships will result in a fee reduction of the tuition fee with 70 000 SEK or 125 000 SEK, depending on the programme one chooses to study. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence. The applicant can apply for this scholarship after he/she have applied to be admitted to study at Mid Sweden University.  The application must be made no later than January 15, 2014.
About Scholarship: For high performing students applying to a study programme at Mid Sweden University, we are offering a number of scholarships which will result in a fee reduction of the tuition fee with 70 000 SEK or 125 000 SEK, depending on the programme one chooses to study. Students who have applied to a study programme at Mid Sweden University starting autumn term 2014, and who are required to pay tuition fees are welcome to apply for a Mid Sweden University Tuition fee Scholarship. Last day to apply is February 10, 2014. The scholarships will be awarded on basis of academic excellence. The scholarship value is deducted from the tuition fee. 
Study: Scholarships are awarded in Tourism Studies, Business Administration, Marketing and Management, Political Sciences, Computer Engineering, Eco technology and Sustainable Development, Electronics Design. Eligibility: The Mid Sweden University Tuition fee Scholarship is targeted at top academic students from countries outside the EU/ EEA (and Switzerland). This scholarship programme is not open for students from the following 12 countries: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Students from these countries instead have the possibility to apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship.
Scholarship Open for: Students from countries outside the EU/EEA (and Switzerland). Number of awards: A number of scholarships will be offered.
Value: The Scholarship is awarded for a fee waiver of 70 000 SEK or 125 000 SEK (depending on the programme) for the tuition fee for the programme at Mid Sweden University the student has applied to at the time of the scholarship application.
-The scholarship value is deducted from the tuition fee of the programme for which the scholarship holder is awarded a scholarship. This means that the scholarship will not be disbursed to the student.
-The scholarship cannot be transferred to another programme at Mid Sweden University or another university.

Selection Criteria: The ranking process is based on academic excellence. For this selection process, Mid Sweden University will take an even distribution according to sex into consideration. Applicants who ranked Mid Sweden University are their first priority when initially applying to the university has preference.
Notification: Applicants will be notified of the result of their scholarship application individually by e-mail address that was given on the application form. Notification will be sent out in the end of February, 2014 at the earliest but the latest in the end of March 2014. If the applicant accepts the scholarship, a contract will be sent to the applicant by e-mail.
