International Research Scholarships at Brighton University - UK

The University of Brighton annually invites international students to apply a scholarship for research program at the university. The research area could be all disciplines which is offered by the university. To be considered, you must be a new full-time international research student and must have applied to join a research programme at the University of Brighton and been offered a place for 2014 entry. This research scholarship award is available on annual basis.

Program Description

The University of Brighton international research scholarships will provide a reduction of 50 per cent off the cost of your tuition fees for your research programme (for up to a maximum of 3 years) are available to outstanding international research students in all areas of study.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the following criteria:
  • academic merit (including English language ability)
  • full fee-paying international student status
  • acceptance onto a research programme at the University of Brighton

Award Amount
This scholarship will include the tuition fee reduction valued up to 50 percent (for up to a maximum of 3 years).

Eligibility and Criteria
The main requirements of the scholarship is that must be a new full-time international research student, and must have applied to join a research programme at the University of Brighton, and been offered a place for 2014 entry.

Applicants' Citizenship
All nationalities may apply this scholarship award.

Level and Area of Studies
Research program in any any subjects.

Application Procedure
For the 2014 academic year, please email internationalscholarships@brighton.ac.uk with your applicant number in the subject line and we will send you a scholarship application pack. Please note application forms will only be sent to students holding unconditional offers for a full-time place with us.

Your application should be returned to the International Office to allow consideration at the appropriate scholarship committee meeting prior to your intended start date

Submission Deadline
Applications for research scholarships are considered at three points during the academic year: the end of June, the end of October and the end of February.

Other Information
The decision of the research scholarship committee will be communicated to applicants soon after each of the meetings and that decision is final. Accompanying documentation will not be returned.
