EurActiv.fr operates a trainee scheme in Paris university students or recent graduates. Trainees are allocated either to editorial, commercial or technical tasks, depending on availability and abilities/experience. These internships are for 6 months with convention de stage contract.
EurActiv publishes in 12 languages through its own and a network of franchise offices (Editorial Mission)
We are now looking for a:
Marketing and Events Intern – Paris
(Start: July )
 
Responsibilities include

• Assistance with client management and marketing communications
• Assistance with event organisation
• Assistance in advertising campaigns
• Assisting with annual activity reports for clients, including statistics taken from Google Analytics
• Assistance in mailings / e-mailings / presentations for clients and prospects
• Research on EU public affairs and other media
• Managing and updating commercial databases
• General office management and administrative tasks

Profile

• Very organized and detail-oriented
• Native French speaker with a very good command of English
• University education: European affairs, politics and/or business management
• Frequent user of internet services and good knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment
• Able to face tight deadlines 
• Brussels experience (traineeship at EU institution or similar)
• Knowledge of/Interest in the “EU” market, i.e. industry federations, NGOs, consultancies, think tanks etc
• Proactive, open-minded, flexible and team-player
