President’s Doctoral Scholar Awards for International Students in UK, 2015

President’s Doctoral Scholar (PDS) Awards are offered by the University of Manchester for international students. The awards are available for pursuing doctoral degree level at the University of Manchester. These prestigious awards are open to all research areas. The PDS Award will offer the successful candidate PhD funding totalling approximately £14,900 plus the cost of tuition fees. The application deadline is 20 March, 2015.

Eligibility: Applicants must have obtained (or expect to obtain) a minimum first-class honours degree (or equivalent), and ideally hold a Masters-level qualification at merit or distinction (or equivalent). This may include contributions to publications/articles, promoting their research to a wider audience, prizes/accolades for previous research work, setting up research collaborations with other groups etc.
