John Anderson Master Scholarship at University of Strathclyde, UK

The University of Strathclyde is now accepting application for John Anderson Scholarship. This scholarship open to students who have been admitted for a master program at the university within the faculty of humanity social science commencing on September 2015. The winners will be awarded up to £5000. To apply, the application form must be submitted no later than 31 May 2015.
Scholarship Description
A number of £5000 scholarships are now available for international applicants of postgraduate taught master’s programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Named after the University’s founder, the John Anderson International Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of student academic excellence and are aimed at raising the international profile of the University. Commenting on the new scholarships Professor Mark Poustie, Vice Dean (Internationalisation) said: “Strathclyde welcomes students from over 100 countries and these scholarships will offer the very best international students the opportunity to join an award-winning community of staff and students at the UK Entrepreneurial University of the Year”.
Award Value
The winners of this scholarship may expect to receive £5000 towards the overall tuition fee of their chosen postgraduate taught programme.
Level and Area of Studies
Master program in any subjects available within the faculty of Humanities and Social Science.

Eligibility and Criteria
The main requirement of this scholarship is that the candidates must have conditional or unconditional offer to study must have been made. Candidates will normally hold a good honours degree or equivalent.
