Eligibility:
In order to apply for scholarship, applicants must follow the given criteria:University welcomes applications for postgraduate study from across the UK, the rest of Europe and the wider world. Each course listed at Postgraduate study lists academic entry requirements for the postgraduate courses, along with our English language requirements for non-native English. Postgraduate applicants are normally expected to meet the following general entrance requirements:-
For research degrees (eg MPhil and PhD): normally an upper second-class undergraduate honours degree or other professional qualification or experience of equivalent standing. For research courses in the arts or social sciences, normally also a Masters degree
For taught degrees (eg MA or MSc): normally at least an upper second-class (or, in some subjects, a lower second-class) undergraduate honours degree or other professional qualification or experience of equivalent standing
For both research and taught degrees: all non-native English speakers will also need to provide evidence of suitable English language ability. English language requirements are listed with each course at Postgraduate study.

The Online application to Sussex allows applicants to apply for up to three different courses. In reviewing their application, university takes into account the following:-
Applicant’s academic qualifications (both those already completed and those for which they are still studying). If applicants transcript or degree certificate is not in English, they must also submit a certified English translation of the documents
Relevant work experience and professional qualifications (if appropriate)
Applicants personal statement, setting out their academic interests and reasons for applying
Academic reference(s): at least one if applicants are applying for a taught course or at least two for research applications
Where appropriate, proof of English language ability.
Once all the information has been received by the University of Sussex and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
