If you would like to study in Universities of Czech
Republic, Czech Republic and pursue Full Time Masters Program in Economics you
can avail CERGE-EI International MA Scholarships which is being
offered by the Center for Economic Research & Graduate
Education–Economics Institute (CERGE-EI).
This is a Masters Program Merit Based Scholarship and
students are eligible from National and International Students to apply for the
same. Only Few such award is being offered and the deadline for application is
31-Mar-16.
This Scholarship will offer you:-
Exceptionally well-prepared applicants are eligible for
partial scholarships. Scholarship decisions are made by the Admissions
Committee based on submitted documents and interview results. There is no
special application to obtain a scholarship.
Scholarships are given in the form of tuition discounts for
exceptionally well-prepared applicants, based on a complete application package
(no special procedure to apply for a discount). The lowest tuition level is
7,000 USD. Full scholarships are not available.
It is possible for students to obtain bank loans and other
support for study. The MA in Applied Economics program staff will be happy to
provide documents required to apply for a study loan upon request for Complete

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be
eligible to apply for this scholarship:-
The institute wants applicants to succeed in the program.
That’s why they have some basic requirements for all their applicants.
Required to do well in the program:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Master’s
graduates are welcome to apply
Some background in mathematics, ideally at basic calculus
level or more. Even advanced high school math classes count here
Not required but encouraged to help us decide if
applicants’ thrive in the program:
Previous education in economics or related fields, such as
other social sciences, mathematics, statistics and various technical fields
Standardized English test report (TOEFL, IELTS, or other)
Tests proving their readiness to study at graduate level,
such as GRE, GMAT, or other
Relevant work or internship experience.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you
should submit the following documents and should possess the following:
The mode of application is Online. In addition to the
application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents:-
Online application forms, including:
Applicants contact information and educational background
Contact details of two referees, who can testify to their
academic accomplishments and character; institute will contact referees
directly
Electronic files, including:
Scans of all applicants translated diplomas and transcripts
(not required if the originals are in English).
Scans of all their original diplomas and transcripts, in the
original language
Letter of motivation stating why and how this program will
help them grow and achieve their goals
Electronic or scanned standardized score reports (optional)
Scan of the main page of their passport, with picture.
If applicants are still studying in their home university,
submit the current academic transcript instead of diploma.
Electronic materials can be uploaded on the last page of the
online application or sent by email to mae-at-cerge-ei.cz.
The application is complete when institute receive all
electronic materials and letters of recommendation. When applicant’s
application is complete, institute will notify applicants and invite them for
interview.
Once all the information has been received by the Center for
Economic Research & Graduate Education–Economics Institute (CERGE-EI) and
the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed
about your selection in the same.
