The University of Oxford is inviting applications for
Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme for
international applicants. Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time
graduate degrees at the University of Oxford.
This scholarship is part of the Oxford Graduate
Scholarships, which were established through a groundbreaking new matched
funding initiative to enable the creation of fully-funded scholarships for
graduate students of the highest calibre from across the world.
The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and
Leadership Programme was established in 2015 thanks to generous donations from
multiple donors to mark the 95th birthday of Lord Weidenfeld.
Applicants must be applying to start a new graduate course
at Oxford.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship will cover 100% of
University and college fees and a grant for living costs (of at least £14,296).
Awards are made for the full duration of their fee liability for the agreed
course.
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
Eligibility:
Applicants must be applying to start a new graduate course
at Oxford.
Applicants should be intending to return to your
country of ordinary residence once your course is completed. Students currently
at Oxford are not eligible to apply unless they are already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann
scholars.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a connection
between your subject of study and your longer-term career objectives,
explaining how you see your professional work contributing to the improvement
of public life in your country of origin or at a wider regional or
international level. Preference will be given to Master’s course
applicants. If you are applying for a DPhil you must be able to
demonstrate how your DPhil studies will benefit your future career in leadership.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have their
previous degree.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside
the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other
language requirements in order to be able to study there.
How to Apply:
In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants
must select the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme in
the University of Oxford Scholarships section of the University’s graduate
application form and submit your application for graduate study by the relevant
January deadline for your course (6 or 20 January 2017). See the Courses page
for the deadline applicable to your course.
Applicants must also complete a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann
Scholarships Questionnaire and upload it, together with their graduate
application form, by the deadline.
They will use the details them insert in the ‘Nationality
and ordinary residence’ section of the graduate application form to assess your

To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship,
applicants must be successful in being offered a place on their course after
consideration of applications received by the relevant January deadline for the
course. Course applications which are held over after the January deadline to
be re-evaluated against applications received by the March deadline or course
applications which have been put on a waiting list are not eligible for
scholarship consideration.
