Policy Intern TEPPFA - The European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association

Type: Paid internship – 6 months minimum

About us:
TEPPFA is the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association, consisting of 15 national associations together with 13 companies across Europe part of the plastic pipe systems value chain.
Our mission is to:
Promote high quality plastic pipe systems through standardization and quality marks
Drive our industry to continuously improve its sustainable and environmental performance
Develop key messages and communicate effectively across Europe on the benefits of plastic pipe systems
TEPPFA is the voice of the plastic pipes and fittings industry at EU level and actively contributes to the development of European policies.
TEPPFA is looking for a junior policy intern.
The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following activities:
Monitor developments in EU policy and write short briefings
Attend and report on external/internal events
Assist with organizing events at the European level
Assist with various day-to-day administrative tasks
Your profile:
Previous similar experience is highly desired
University degree is an asset
Good knowledge of EN, other languages are an asset
Knowledge of European institutions and interest in EU affairs
Proficient with MS Office and Internet
Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
Organized and eye for detail
Positive attitude, flexible, team player, sense of humor
The applicant should be in possession of a valid working permit in Belgium
We offer:
Working within a very small but international team
Experience with information technologies (MS Office package etc.)
Opportunity to take on other responsibilities and work independently
