Research Fellowship Scheme for UK Applicants, 2017

The Leverhulme Trust is offering research fellowships which are open to experienced researchers, particularly those who are or have been prevented by routine duties from completing a program of original research. UK residents are eligible to apply for this fellowship program.
The Leverhulme Trust was established by the Will of William Hesketh Lever, the founder of Lever Brothers. Since 1925 we have provided grants and scholarships for research and education; today, we are one of the largest all-subject providers of research funding in the UK, distributing approximately £80m a year.
Course Level: Fellowship is available for pursuing research.
Study Subject: Applications will be considered in all subject areas with the following exceptions: both because of the substantial funding available from other sources for applied medical research, and the Trust’s priority to support investigations of a fundamental nature, we do not fund studies of disease, illness, and disabilities in humans and animals, or research that is intended to inform clinical practice or the development of medical applications.
Scholarship Award: The maximum value of a Fellowship is £50,000. The awards provide research expenses over and above normal living costs and/or provide a contribution towards reasonable replacement costs or loss of earnings.
